Engineer ‘talks’ to his dead teenage daughter after developing paranormal detection devices

A grief-stricken electrical engineer believes he has found a way to communicate with his dead daughter eight years after her death.

Using his expertise to design and build a series of electromagnetic detection devices, Gary Galka claims to have even recorded his eldest daughter Melissa saying, ‘Hi Daddy, I love you.’

Devastated by his girls death in a car accident on her way home in 2004 at the age of 17, Gary and his family started to experience unexplained phenomena at their Connecticut home days after the fatal accident according to the Hartford Courant.

Gary Galka has used his expert knowledge to create a series of electromagnetic devices that he says allow him to communicate with his daughter.

‘She started doing things like ringing the doorbell, changing TV channels, turning lights on and off,’ said Gary who runs D.A.S. Distribution Inc. in East Granby and lives with his wife Cindy and two other daughters, Jennifer and Heather.

‘There were situations when my wife would start to make lunch with Heather and Jennifer and all of sudden they’d feel someone come into the room.

‘I’ve been lying in bed and felt someone come down on my side of the bed and felt a weight on my chest, like someone’s head.

Melissa Galka died in 2004 following a car crash and her family believe that she has been a constant spirit presence in their lives ever since

‘It evolved into things like feeling a tap on the shoulder, someone calling out our names and it felt like someone was kissing our foreheads.’

Convinced these were after-death communications (ADC’s), Gary set about creating specific devices so that he could talk with his eldest girl.

Using his knowledge of electromagnetic sensors systems, Gary created the Mel-Meter 8704, named after his daughter, the year she was born and the year that Gary believes she passed into the spirit realm.

Developing additional devices, such as a ‘Spirit Box’ , Gary has recorded his daughter saying, ‘Hi Daddy, I love You.’

UFOs in NASA photos?

Posted in Conspiracies, Paranormal (General), Sightings on April 14th, 2012 by Site Admin – Be the first to comment

I came across this YouTube video today, claiming to show UFOs in NASA photos of the sun:

At first I was quite intrigued by what I was seeing – what are these weird spherical shapes that are surviving while being so close to the sun?  Then I read some of the comments below the video which suggested the spherical objects were indeed … planets!  “Well done for finding Mercury”, mocked one viewer, and I admit I felt a little foolish for not even considering the possibility that there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for the shapes.

But knowing there is a much discussed theory of the sun being a stargate, I decided to do some googling.  The first link I came across was Giant UFOs around the Sun? NASA claims malfunction, physicist says giant ET UFOs use Sun’s star gate on the Examiner website.  Referring to the same images in the YouTube video, NASA claims they are actually “compression artifacts” – and not planets!  In fact, NASA appears to have replaced the images you see in the YouTube video with the “artifacts” removed – causing many to shout “cover up”!

When asked to explain why the spaceships artifacts appear to reflect the light of the sun, NASA announced this was due to an equipment failure – and removed the photos in question.  How convenient!

Fighter jets scrambled in UK

Posted in Conspiracies, Sightings on April 12th, 2012 by Site Admin – Be the first to comment

The internet is awash tonight with reports of sonic booms across England, covering at least a 100 mile radius. According to this BBC news report, the MOD had responded to say that the sonic booms were caused by two fighter jets which were scrambled in response to an emergency call from a helicopter – which turned out to be a false alarm.

This YouTube video is a recording of the sounds that could be heard at the time in Bath, UK:

One of the comments below the video links to another video featuring the same sound, recorded in the Netherlands 12 hours earlier:

Meanwhile, this Flickr user has uploaded photos of a strange white “floater” in the sky, which appeared around the time of the booms.

Many are speculating on why two fighter jets were scrambled for a civilian helicopter. The consensus seems to be that this would only happen in a major incident such as a hijacking.

According to reports from people in Bath, the OTHER object in the sky (see the Flickr link) was actually the main source of interest.   People believe that the helicopter pilot sent the distress call after spotting the UFO and that the whole incident is being covered up.  Have a read of #bathUFO on Twitter for more details.

End of the world is nigh?

Posted in Paranormal (General) on March 21st, 2012 by Site Admin – Be the first to comment

“A BRITISH family are gearing up to survive a global disaster they believe is imminent and will plunge civilization into a lawless new dark age.

Computer repair man Larry Peters, 42, is convinced a giant solar flare will strike the Earth at the end of THIS YEAR, knocking out communications, energy and food supplies and resulting in worldwide anarchy.

To give his family the best chance of emerging from this “catastrophe”, Larry has joined in the US phenomenon of “prepping” — stockpiling food and water and teaching his kids, including nine-year-old daughter Lily, to HUNT and GUT animals.

Larry has also kitted out his family’s three-bed terrace in Cornwall, to cope with every eventuality.

They have installed a generator for back-up power, horded a two-month food supply and they keep ten chickens for a constant supply of eggs and have cultivated a 150ft vegetable patch in the garden.

They have splashed out £10,000 on a 4×4 in case they need to flee, spent £1,200 on guns and ammo and filled giant tanks with water to build up a 700-gallon reserve.

Larry said: “We’re preppers, we believe in being as self-sufficient as possible. As a family we’re about 99 per cent prepared for the end.”

There’s no specific date mentioned for this particular end-of-the-world prediction – have you heard about a predicted solar flare, coming later this year?

Iceland’s answer to the Loch Ness Monster?

Posted in Paranormal (General) on February 11th, 2012 by Site Admin – Be the first to comment

This footage, apparently of Iceland’s Worm Monster (Lagarfljóts Worm) – a snake-like monster – swimming along the Jokulsa river last week, was taken by a local resident, Hjortur Kjerulf.

He claims it’s not a fake – read an interview with Kjerulf here… in Icelandic, if you know the language ;)   If not, this is a slightly amusing translation as provided by Google Translate (hopefully you’ll get the gist of the meaning!):

“Deer Kjerúlf, farmer Hrafnkelsstöðum, said of and from that he has staged or fake video of stories concerns the current success story of the world. He had become was something in the river and decided to form the order bar. Deer, I do not know what that is seen on the video

Deer was to fix a coffee on Thursday last week when he noticed some movement in the river in Fljótsdalur. He has decided to form a phenomenon out of eldúsgluggann then moved into the stairs.

The video may be the stories concerns have attracted much attention worldwide. Nearly three million have watched it on Youtube as well as factors such as Good Morning America have shown that. Many have argued Hjort video was staged and that it is he who moves what seems to be a worm, to and from.

This port Hjort entirely, saying it totally off and from. He says the phenomenon has been found that similar to the monster, weird, and it has seemed to swim against the current. He has therefore decided to form it. Hart says he can not answer what it was that he formed, he knows not.

Deer must be 67 years tomorrow. He has never gone out of the country and claims to know nothing of computers. When he formed the stories concerns that his uncle advised him over the phone. The reason he did not go nearly phenomenon is that he has been most concerned to achieve images that were quite stable.”

Sightings of the Icelandic cryptid date back to 1345. The worm-like creature is presumed to be longer than a football field, or 300 feet (91 m), and has been seen coiled near the shore by countless eyewitnesses.

According to reports, it has been spotted in both water and dry land. It is believed that it can slither onto land.

Another Doomsday prediction bites the dust…

“Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1), widely known for inaccurate reports of its threat to Earth, appears to be breaking apart. Observations by amateur astronomer Michael Mattiazzo of Castlemaine, Australia show a rapid dimming and elongation of the comet’s nucleus akin to that of Comet LINEAR (C/1999 S4), which also disintegrated when it approached the sun in 2000. Comets are fragile objects, so this development while unexpected comes as no surprise. ”

Mysterious balloon-like object over Loch Ness

Posted in Sightings on August 22nd, 2011 by Site Admin – Be the first to comment

The emergency services undertook a night-time search of Loch Ness after reports a balloon-like object had fallen from the sky.

The police, coastguard, lifeboat and an RAF search and rescue helicopter scoured the area but found nothing.

The alarm was raised at 20:00 on Saturday after members of the public said they saw a blue object fall on the south of the Loch, near Dores.

Police thought it might have been a hang glider or microlight.

However, following a three-hour search the emergency services could find “nothing untoward”.

Loch Ness RNLI crew member, Vivian Bailey, said: “Speed of arrival on scene was essential and we were able to link our search efforts with those of the Coastguard and RAF, something we practise regularly.

“We believe the reports were based on sightings causing genuine concern and we commend the actions of the members of the public that contacted the emergency services.”
